Lovelace Cancer Center now offers an annual $99 low-dose CT chest scan for lung cancer screening. The screening is simple, effective and can improve the outcome with early diagnoses. Some insurance plans will even cover this expense.
You may be a screening candidate if you:
- Are a current or former cigarette smoker who has quit within the last 15 years
- Are between 55 – 77 years old
- Have no known history of lung cancer
- Have a smoking history of at least 30-pack years (one pack a day for 30 years, 2 packs a day for 15 years, etc.)
To schedule your CT scan and see if you qualify for a no-cost CT scan, request a referral from your primary care physician and call 505.727.3086, or fill out the form below.
